Adventure Land
- Yes, as long as the limit is not exceeded.
- Yes, however one of your 10 passes of the multi-pass will be used for each child.
- You can fill out a registration form at the Adventure Land desk. The registration form will ask for information about your child that we will need to ensure your child's safety while here at Thrive. This will include but not limited to: guardian information, medications, allergies, etc.
- There is a maximum usage time, one visit per day per family that does not exceed 2 hours.
- According to the State of Texas Standards for Child Care the ratio of Child Watch Attendant to child are the following: The ratio for children ages 6 months to 11 months is 4:1.The ratio for ages 12 months to 23 months is 5:1. The ratio for ages 2-3 years is 8:1. The ratio for ages 4 – 8 years is 10:1

- Adventure Land is our child watch area here at Thrive. After purchasing a day pass or multi-pass and checking in, our child watch attendants will keep an eye on your little ones while you stay in the building to workout.
- We offer a day pass for $3 and a multi-pass (10 passes) for $30 that can be purchased at the front desk at Thrive after registering your child at Adventure Land. This is in addition to your membership or day pass for the building.
- You'll need to register your child on the first visit. To check your child in, you can either purchase a day pass and then show the receipt to the Adventure Land staff or scan your multi-pass at Adventure Land.
Aquatics
- Yes. Upon recommendation from the American Red Cross, Centers for Disease Control, National Lightning Safety Institute and the National Weather Service, we close for 30 minutes if lightning strikes within 5 miles of the facility. Use this link to view the current lightning status.
- Thrive does not have a sauna or hot tub.
- Thrive does not have an outdoor pool. The outdoor aquatic center for the city is located at Sun Valley Aquatic Center, 801 S. Valley Parkway or the Old Town Splash Park, 535 W. College St.
Private lessons are offered:
- Monday & Wednesday mornings and afternoons
- Tuesday & Thursday evenings
- Saturday Mornings
- Private lessons are set up twice a week for two weeks. The cost of private lessons are $120/4 classes. Registration for swim lessons opens on the 23rd of each month. Spots are limited.

The following Thrive Aquatic Rules are listed for your convenience so you may be informed before your visit. Disregarding these rules can result in bodily harm and/or loss of swim privileges. No person may conduct any personal aquatic activity, lesson, and/or training without written permission from the Aquatic Supervisor.
- Have fun
- Wear proper swim attire
- Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision (16 years of age or older) when in the pool area.
- Children under the age of nine must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older within arm’s reach unless the child can pass the swim test.
- 10/50 Pool Breaks: Starting at noon, every day, at the 50 min mark the pool will implement a break for anyone under the the age of 16 (Swim Lessons and the Slide will not be impacted).
Pool Break Time Slots: 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 3:50, 4:50, 5:50, 6:50, & 7:50 - Walk - Do NOT run
- Be kind to the pool equipment
- No diving
- Non-service animals prohibited
- Changing diapers within 6 feet of any water feature is prohibited
- Use of any water feature when ill with a contagious disease OR diarrhea is prohibited
- Do not drink water from any water feature
The following IS allowed:
- Swim toys (except for large tubes and rafts)
- Life preserving devices such as life jackets. All life jackets must be U.S. Coast Guard approved
- Use of devices to protect eyes, ears, nose (goggles, earplugs, etc.) (except on slides)
- Food and beverage consumption in designated areas (i.e. deck chairs and tables)

- All riders must be at least 48" tall
- Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds
- WARNING: Water depth is shallow
- Non-swimmers are not permitted
- All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back with arms crossed across their chest. Do not go down the slide head first. Do not sit up while riding the slide
- Riders must enter the slide in a sitting position and wait for instructions from the lifeguard stationed at the slide starter tub
- Do not propel yourself into the ride
- Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no trains or chains of riders are permitted
- No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume. Arms and hands must remain inside the flume at all times. Riders should remain in proper riding position until forward movement is terminated.
- At no time should the rider attempt to stand up while on the slide or prior to coming to a complete stop in the splash out area
- No tubes, mats, or life jackets are permitted on the water slide
- No combs or foreign objects are allowed in pockets and no jewelry can be worn while riding the slide. No cut off jeans or swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation; only approved swim suits allowed
- The line should form on the deck with one rider on each landing and one rider in the starter tub. Wait until landing area is clear before entering
- Riders must be in good health. Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or person using prescription medication should consult their physician before using the slide. Individuals with medical conditions including, but not limited to, pregnancy, heart, or back problems should not ride
- Do not use the slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- No diving from the slide
- Leave the run out area promptly after entering
- Additional rules regarding patron safety may be added by management as necessary
- Lifeguard must be present
WARNING: Failure to follow rules can result in serious injury.
- You can wear board shorts or swim trunks. Swim shirts made out of Lycra, rash guards with swimsuits. Standard bikini, tankini, or one-piece swimsuit (must be family-friendly). Modesty swimwear. Neoprene/swim diapers. Life jackets - must be U.S. Coast Guard Approved. You can't wear cotton clothing or socks. Denim, jean skirts, jean shorts, or cut-offs. Underwear, lingerie, or boxers. Apparel that may be disruptive or distracting to the general patronage (patron may be requested to appropriately cover or exit the pool). Non-U.S Coast Guard Approved Life Jackets.
Basketball Gymnasium
Full-Court 5v5 basketball AND 2 half courts are available during the following times:
Mondays from 4:30-8:30 p.m., Fridays from 3:45-7:45 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Half-Court 5v5 basketball is available during the following times:
Wednesdays from 4:30-8:30 p.m. (2 courts), Thursdays from 4:30-8:30 p.m. (2 courts).
*Basketball open play gym schedule may change due to programs and camps.*
Daycare
- Yes. You must be a member. Monday - Thursday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Monday-Thursday 4-8 p.m. Ages 6 months to 8 years old. The cost is $3 for 2 hours.
Fitness
- Children between 9 and 12 years of age must be accompanied by an actively participating adult. An adult is defined as anyone 16 years of age and older. Youth ages 13-15 may use the fitness equipment if the following conditions are met; they have attended a fitness orientation class and the parent or guardian has given written permission.
Membership Information
- Day passes will only be sold to Thrive members ages 18 and older wanting to bring in a guest. The guest must be with the Thrive member when entering the facility and must remain in the building together.
- Month to Month for residents is $36 and for non-residents, it's $75. Annual for residents is $275; for non-residents, it's $550.
- Day passes for residents are $6 and for non-residents, it's $10. Month to Month for residents is $18 and for non-residents, it's $35. Annual for residents is $210; for non-residents, it's $375.
- Day passes for residents are $4 and for non-residents, it's $8. Month to Month for residents is $12 and for non-residents, it's $26. Annual for residents is $215; for non-residents, it's $90.
- Day passes for residents are $4 and for non-residents, it's $8. Month to Month for residents is $12 and for non-residents, it's $26. Annual for residents is $25 for non-residents, it's $90.
Operations
- Yes, children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult to enter Thrive.
- Monday-Thursday: 5 a.m.-9 p.m.
Friday: 5 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Rentals & Birthday Parties
- Any type of fundraiser or rental that collects money must first be approved by the City of Lewisville.
- Yes, but only for the purpose of fitness, dance (no tap), or choreography.
- No, rental time is inclusive of set-up and clean-up.
- No, you must purchase day passes for your party to access outside of the area rented.
- To better protect your child, we do require that children under the age of nine must be within arm’s reach of an adult while in the water.
- Room reservations can be made in person at Thrive, or over the phone at 469.635.5300. Use this link to view the availability of a room.
- Deposits are returned to the Responsible Party based on a determination that all facets of the rental agreement have been satisfied. Refunds are made by credit card or check, 7-14 days after the event.
- Audio/visual equipment is available for a small rental fee and must be requested at the time of rental and included with the final rental payment.
- A few things you should be aware of are: Rentals are subject to availability. Annual memberships are eligible for a 10% discount. Renter (“Responsible Party”) must be 18 years of age or older. Responsible Party does not need to be a Thrive member. Responsible Party must be present for duration of rental. The number of guests is restricted to the current capacity of the room. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance. One reservation must be completed before another reservation can be made. Standing or consecutive reservations are not allowed.
- No, the kitchen is a separate rental, and can only be used to keep food warm and for serving food. Actual food preparation is not allowed in the kitchen.
- Wi-Fi is available under the “COL Guest” log-in, but it is not guaranteed as part of your rental.
- Yes, depending on the type of rental, you may bring your own food and drink. Please no glass containers in the pool or pool area.
- Live bands or amplified music must first be approved by Thrive management at the time the rental is being made. Appropriate recorded music or noise from the rented area must not be disturbing to Thrive administrative staff or members.
- Prior approval MUST be obtained to attach decorations to the walls and/or ceilings. We do not allow the use of tape, nails, tacks, screws, or any other forms of physical attachment that might damage the surface of the facility. You may use adhesive putty to hang items. All items must be taken down at the end of the party. Items not permitted in the room are confetti, glitter, party poppers, and piñatas.

- Each party will have access to the amenities for that area including tables, chairs, trash cans, restrooms, etc. Extra tables/chairs may not be brought in and the maximum capacity number for the rental may not be increased.
- If the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the event, a cancellation fee ($10.00, as stated in ordinance Sec. 2.201) will be retained from the deposit. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the event, the minimum rental fee and a cancellation fee (as stated in ordinance Sec.2.201) will be forfeited.
- Thrive has a variety of rooms for rent from meetings rooms, community spaces, event rooms, party rooms and more. To view a list of all rental spaces and prices visit lewisvillethrive.com/about-us/facility-rentals.
- Thrive has a room, or combination of rooms, to accommodate most events, such as receptions, baby showers, birthday parties (adults and children), memorial services, or business meetings and seminars.
- Deposits are due at the time the reservation is made. Rental fee is due 30 days in advance of the rental date. If a reservation is made within thirty days of the event, the entire amount of deposit and rental fees are due at the time the reservation is made.
